UZUPIS (LT) VISITING CHRISTIANIA

From the 21st to the 30th of September, we have a visit from 8 painters from Vilnius/Lithuania,
who were visited by 30 Christiania artists with a large exhibition in the winter of 2012.

As a follow-up to our friendly relations with the artist community in
the district of Uzupis, we hold a so-called "Plain Air event", where the participants
draw and paint around Christiania in the days leading up to the birthday.

As the works are finished , we will hang them up in the Gallopperiet and
on Friday the 27th there will be a vernissage and party with food and music.
We hope many local artists will participate in the Plain Air event.

You register on Saturday the 22nd at 14 in the Gallopperiet.
The fee will be DKK 250, money that will be spent on materials, dining and
tourist experiences. Our guests have little of their own funds.
We expect everyone who was with us in Vilnius to contribute to our friends' stay with
accommodation and/or finances.

An exhibition about the alternative urban community Uzupis in Vilnius will be shown in
the front room of the Gallopperiet from Saturday 22 September.
In addition, there will be sketches on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday at 10:00 – 12:00.
Welcome us on the streets and alleys as we display our artistic skills.
