I am unfolding my soul with an exhibition at the Gallopperiet on the occasion of my 70th birthday and 40th anniversary.

Circo del Mondo is the result of 40 years of work with textile art, painting, drawing and photos. It is also the result of an extensive dive deep into my treasure chest, to find a common thread and a chronological history of my life's creative output, prompted by my 70 years and coincidentally also by my 40th anniversary as a visual artist.

The work with textiles has been a long journey, which has now ended in the form I have practiced so far. FABRIC is like a wild animal that needs to be tamed to make it the way you want it to be.

Each image, in its long process, becomes a mirror of a piece of life that cannot be repeated.

Painting has always been very dear to me and in direct connection with my soul.

Photography has been like an extra eye that witnesses the world's unique moments and situations and has for me a great historical value.

My inspiration came to a large extent, in addition to my imagination, from the lively experiences and enormous creative forces that were in the artistic environment around me in the 1970' - 80' and 90', especially in Christianshavn, in Christiania and in Italy.

Therefore, my pictures also reflect a history of time.

Circo del Mondo' symbolically denotes life, where there are many stories. Each person, their stories, intertwined with the stories of the world. The scene changes constantly, just like in a circus, and new people and animals appear and disappear again.
