The flea's birthday exhibition

Join us for the vernissage at the Gallopperiet on 5 May for the birthday exhibition "The Loppen - Going Out of Busi-
ness Since 1973", where we offer something for the throat and an acoustic concert with singer-songwriter Jonathan
Book Jensen.
We celebrate Loppen's 50th birthday with the exhibition "Loppen - going out of business since 1973" on both
The Gallopperiet and the Spiseloppen with posters, pictures, drawings and much more from Loppen's long and
eventful history. Here, on the floor above the legendary venue, both concertgoers,
old and new fleas as well as friends of the house come up to experience and relive stories from Loppens
history, which has largely been created by the place's guests and activists over time.
The exhibition opens with a vernissage on the Great Day of Prayer, Friday 5 May from 15.00 to 19.00, where we
offers something for the throat and an acoustic concert with Jonathan Bøge Jensen (The Blue Buzz, Detective Picnic
and the Mystery Basket et al.), who will play songs from the back catalog with a nod to folk and blues.
There is an opportunity to visit "Loppen - going out of business since 1973" throughout the month of the birthday
through Sunday, May 28.
The Gallopperiet - The City's Museum of Art is open Tuesday to Sunday from 14.00 – 19.00. The eating flea
is open Tuesday to Saturday from 17.00 to 23.00. Both are located on the 2nd floor of the Loppebygningen, just above
Loppen's premises.
