Greenlandic myths meet Christiania-Skrøner

In April, the galloperiet shows the Czech artist Martin Velisek's deadly juicy and humorous illustrations for ``Greenland Myths and Legends'', collected by Knud Rasmussen from 1902-32.

The Czech ambassador to Denmark , Zdenek Lycká, together with his wife Viola Lycková, has translated the Myths into Czech and Martin Velisek's drawings are included in this book.
At the opening of the exhibition on Saturday 6 April, the Danish-Czech writer and ex-Christian Per Smidl will read a small selection of the Myths in Danish and Czech.
During the reception, Niels Kuitse and Robert Haasch deliver a set of songs from their CD ``Kærlighed og Cannibalisme''; ` We start by the canal at Christianshavn'.... texts by Kuitse and Vagn Lundbye.
The artist Biinia has a hanging of sausage tray sketches and draws portraits on the spot and ceramicist Helene Jørgensen shows 5 pieces of pottery. All the artists mentioned are Greenlandic Christians.
In addition, Jane Lytthans contributes to the exhibition with a selection of her fine Greenlandic Rødhus paintings.
Everyone is welcome when the ambassador and café Sveik offer Czech beer.
