Holiday in Denmark is IN!

At exotic Christianshavn lies exotic Christiania, a small state, with City Hall, Opera and City Museum - and a historical archive. Everything breathes idyll and birdsong. The hawthorn blossoms, the swans are kissed and the police walk around, wearing freshly cleaned clothes and white summer caps.

In July 2020, the Gallopperiet, Stadens Museum, will show a section of the permanent museum collection from the ceiling, which contains works and folk memorabilia dating back to the time of the Staden's occupation in 1971 and up to now. The exhibition is curated together with Christiania's archive,
which has patiently classified Christiania's history over just as long.
